FSU Trombone Day – March 4th

Attention future ‘Noles!

Join the Florida State University Trombone Studio
for Trombone Day on Saturday, March 4th!

There will be two esteemed guests this year:

Mark L. Lusk, Professor of Trombone at Penn State University, and Dr. Bradley Palmer, Professor of Trombone at Columbus State University.

Performances will range from solo recitals to jazz trombone ensembles to expanded trombone choirs. These performances will include our guest artists and YOU! Bring your trombone to be involved!

Registered participants will have a chance to meet Professor of Trombone at FSU, Dr. John Drew, warm-up and rehearse in a mass trombone choir setting, and will be featured in the final performance of the day: the FSU Trombone Day Ensemble.

The event is COMPLETELY FREE, but we ask that you register beforehand. Please send registration details (Name, age, school affiliation [if any], tenor or bass trombone, contact phone number, email, and location) to fsutromboneday@gmail.com

All ages and abilities are welcome!
The day will begin by 10:00 a.m. and conclude by 8:30 p.m.
All events will be held at the College of Music on FSU’s campus in Tallahassee, Florida.
